KNOX JUNIOR SCHOOL GSAT RESULTS FOR 2005:

In 2005 we entered 22 students to sit the Grade Six Achievement Test ( GSAT ). *Seventeen out of 22 students who sat this test got their school of first choice. To do this they had to score quite high grades. The averages are as follows:
Math---78%
Language Arts---75%
Social studies---79%
Science ----76%
Communication task----75%.
Most of the scores were in the high eighties and nineties.

*GSAT- is the exam which places you into high school. On registration for the exam their parents had to indicate on a form their five schools of choice in preferential order.

Maths, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts are as percentages.
Communication Tasks is a rating out of 12.
